How do you fit a point 2 air jacket?
Our vests are designed to fit a little loose so they have optimal room to inflate. There should be about 4 inches (about the size of your fist) between your body and the vest. Having the correct fit is the best way to be sure you get a nice, tight air hug to make you feel better after a fall.

How should an air vest fit?
Low profile vests are meant to fit close to the body. Helite, FreeJump, and Penelope vests should be snug enough so that the canister isn’t tipping off of the torso, but should not be ultra tight. Horse Pilot is the snuggest fit of this style of vest (we jokingly call it the thundershirt of air vests).
How do you clean a point 2 air vest?
You can sponge down the outside of the jacket with warm, soapy water but do not place in the washing machine. We recommend the jackets are serviced once a year, and at that time Point Two will remove the airbag and trigger mechanism and will carry out a full wash of the outer garment.
How should a cross country vest fit?
The body protector should reach to your breastbone and cover your bottom rib. The shoulders and neckline of the body protector should lie flat against your body; if this fit cannot be achieved —if the vest pulls away from your body— then you may need to try a shorter length.
How should an XC vest fit?
Fitting Instructions: This vest requires measurements of the chest, waist and spine. Remember, the vest is designed to fit snugly. Reference the size chart to select the most appropriate size for your measurements. If your measurements fall between sizes, the best fit is usually with the smaller size.
How do you wash a hit air vest?
Take the Hit-Air system and protectors (shoulder, elbow, back etc.) out from the vest/jacket and wash or launder the vest/jacket only in accordance with the washing instructions. Wipe the surface of the Hit-Air system (neck, hip cushions etc.) with a damp cloth to remove stains.
