6. One day is enough. Your Dubbo zoo ticket gives you access to two days of entry, but you don’t need it. Yes, it’s a big zoo, but I can’t imagine what we would have done with a second consecutive day there.

We should point out that overnight RV stays within the zoo are not possible but there are a number of good caravan parks in nearby Dubbo or there are a few discrete overnight spots further out of town. Dubbo, of course, has a CMCA MSO. A hot tip is to arrive when the gates open at 9am.

How do I get to the Roar and Snore campsite?
Toiletries – The Roar and Snore campsite has shower and bathroom facilities On the night of your Roar and Snore adventure, your hosts will meet you at the Taronga Zoo Sydney main entrance. Check-in commences from 5:30pm with the program kicking off at 6:15pm. Guests are welcome to arrive by car, bus or ferry.
