How do you get certified in Lindamood-Bell?
Lindamood-Bell does not offer certification. However, all participants receive a letter of completion. Our workshops allow participants to earn CEUs and post-graduate professional development credit. Refresher courses and coaching options are available for teachers to continue their professional development.
How much is Lindamood-Bell per hour?
Families are paying around $150/hour for mostly one-on-one tutoring. The tutors (“clinicians”) make about $20/hour.
What is LMB training?
This program develops phonemic awareness. Students learn to recognize how their mouths the sounds of language. This kinesthetic feedback enables reading, spelling, and speech.
What age is Lindamood Bell for?
for students ages 5 to 18 years old. The Academy carefully considers a student’s potential for success in our instructional environment. Admission decisions are based on a student’s background information and their performance on the Lindamood-Bell Learning Ability Evaluation or screening.
Is Lindamood-Bell for dyslexia?

We identify strengths and weaknesses that may be affecting performance in reading, comprehension, and math. And, for a limited time, you can apply the cost of the evaluation (a value of $395) to any Lindamood-Bell service! We’re live online (since 2015!) and in person.
Is Lindamood Bell worth?
I believe the Lindamood Bell programs are well worth the training cost for providing the program at home. If you have the time and ability to work with your own child, then I’d say, “GO FOR IT!” In terms of your child’s lifetime, even the center’s cost could be worth it.

Our goal is to bring our evidence-based instruction to more families. Lindamood-Bell Learning Camps help make that goal a reality. A Learning Camp is an extension of a Lindamood-Bell Learning Center that is open for a designated portion of the year and offers the instruction that you rely on and trust.
What is Lindamood-Bell Maths?
This program stimulates the ability to image and verbalize the concepts and processes of math. Concept imagery and numeral imagery are integrated with language to improve math computation and problem solving. All genuine Lindamood-Bell workshops include opportunity for practice with program kit materials.
