Is Math-U-See too easy?
Difficulty Level Because it is so sequential and incremental, Math-U-See is a relatively easy math program when compared with other elementary programs. The clear explanations and manipulatives make it easy for children to grasp the concepts, and the problems in the Student Workbook are straight-forward.

As a successful teacher, founder Steve Demme was asked to teach math to a homeschool co-op in Massachusetts. Steve combined his knowledge of curriculum with his experience as a teacher and taught math using a multisensory skill-based approach.
Is RightStart math advanced?
RightStart covers the Common Core State Standards as a minimum but goes beyond the standards with advanced mathematical thinking and pacing such as in Singapore Math. Many concepts are introduced earlier and taught in more depth than in other programs.
