Do Nandos sell chicken strips?
Our PERi-Plant strips are made from pea-protein but taste just like our famous PERi-PERi chicken.
What part of the chicken does Nandos use?
It’s a simple dish that’s simply packed with flavour. Then, there’s the chicken butterfly – two succulent chicken breasts joined by crispy skin. We also serve chicken breast fillets and thighs in our burgers, pittas, wraps, and salads, making them ideal for anyone who wants to mix it up.
Does Nandos use real chicken?
Our chickens are marinated for at least 24 hours before being cooked. Every oven in Nando’s kitchens is pre-programmed to ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly and each batch is temperature checked before serving to ensure it has reached at least 75 degrees. Each chicken is then flame-grilled to order.
Does Blue Light Card work at Nando’s?

Nando’s does not freeze its chicken, which means it is fresh. The chicken is marinated for a whole day before being cooked and it is basted with peri-peri sauce during cooking, to add more flavour and help keep it moist.
Does Nandos chicken have hormones?
The fresh veggies in our burgers, wraps, pitas and salads are all locally grown and our chicken is 100% Australian, RSPCA Approved and hormone-free. We’re also proud the potato and sweet potato used for our chips are locally grown too. These fresh, local ingredients help make your Nando’s meal so damn tasty.
Do Nando’s still do chicken livers?
Finally, Nando’s is bringing back its cult favourite Chicken Livers, which is cooked in Nando’s sauce and served in a Portuguese roll.
