How many electives do you need for Arrow of Light?
There are 18 Elective Adventures plus 3 Preview Adventures, which can be earned as electives in the Webelos and Arrow of Light programs. The Protect Yourself Rules preview adventure can also be substituted for the Cyber Chip requirement. Adventures in Science (To be retired on May 31, 2022.)
Is Arrow of light required for Boy Scouts?
The highest rank in Cub Scouting is the Arrow of Light Award. Earning this rank prepares a Webelos Scout to become a Boy Scout. Webelos Scouts who have earned the Arrow of Light Award have also completed all requirements for the Boy Scout badge.

TIGER. The Tiger rank is for boys and girls who are in first grade or are age 7. To earn the Tiger badge, a boy or girl must complete six required adventures with their den or family and one elective adventure of their den or family’s choosing.
Is Webelos badge required for arrow of light?
We are only a few month to crossover so I don’t think he will be able to finish both. The Webelos badge is not required for Arrow of Light. It was before 2014, but it is not anymore. That might be the cause of the confusion. Sometimes people work from memory rather than checking the current requirements.
