- Sign in to your TripIt account.
- Click Set up Inbox Sync and never forget to forward a plan on the Home page.
- Then enter your Gmail, G Suite, Yahoo! Mail or Outlook.com account (it may auto-fill for you) and click Import Plans From This Email.
- That’s it!
What happened to TripIt?
After January 31, 2022, access to the TripIt for Teams feature will discontinue. You will still have view and edit access for existing upcoming/past Team trips until July 1, 2022. After July 1, 2022, you will not have access to any Team trips that you did not originally create or own.
How do I send itinerary to TripIt?
As soon as you book a flight, hotel, car, or other reservation, simply forward it to [email protected], and we’ll automatically add it to your trip.
How do I add an email address?
Obey these directions:
- Open the Settings app.
- Choose Accounts.
- Tap Add Account.
- Choose the proper Personal email account type.
- Type your email address and tap the Next button.
- Type the email account password and tap the Next button.
- Continue working through the email setup as you did with your first email account.

Why is TripIt not working?
In most cases, a manual refresh of your app, after you have signed in, will update your trip data. If refreshing doesn’t do the trick, and you haven’t done so already, please make sure your app has been upgraded to our latest version. (If the problem remains after upgrading try a complete uninstall and reinstall.)
How do I upload to TripIt?
To get started adding documents to your trips, head to the Details screen for a trip. There, you’ll see Documents. Simply tap the plus (+) button to attach a document to your plan; you can upload PDF, GIF, JPEG, and PNG file formats. Once uploaded, you’ll see a preview thumbnail of your file.
