The 700-acre deer park and pleasure grounds are also open again for people to wander the popular grounds introduced by Capability Brown. The news comes after the house was shut for 16 weeks during lockdown, leaving its teams to protect and conserve its historic features with no visitors in sight.
What time does Petworth Park shut?
The house is open 11-5 except Thursday and Friday when it is closed. These times apply from 14 March to 4th November. From 19th March to 30th October the house is partially open for specialist tours between the hours of 11-5 on Thursdays and Fdriays.
