Does Colorfix lighten your hair?
Many factors determine how well Color Fix lifts color so you can’t expect identical results to others’. Even if it doesn’t remove all of your color, it will lighten your hair considerably (if you give it enough time and heat). I use gloved hands to apply everything to my hair.
What does color reducer do?
Color Remover only removes hair color that is darker than your natural hair color. This means that it cannot remove bleached hair. If your hair has been bleached blond or your color has been lighter than your natural hair color, your natural pigment has been chemically lightened.

How many times can you use Colorfix?
Rinse hair for 3-5 minutes and shampoo. If sufficient color is not removed, repeat steps 2 through 4 on damp, towel-dried hair. Take care not to repeat the above process more than 2-3 times if your scalp is dry or damaged. When the desired level of color removal has been achieved, apply Processing Lotion for 5 minutes.
How do you use Colorfix one n only?
Usage Tips:
- Mix equal parts of Colorfix Part 1 Color Reducer and Part 2 Conditioning Catalyst in a tint bowl or an applicator bottle.
- Use as soon as possible on dry hair after mixing when the mixture is active.
- Once applied, cover hair loosely with a plastic cap and process for up to 20 minutes.
Can I skip processing lotion?
Depending on condition of scalp and hair, do not repeat process more than 2-3 times. When desired level of color removal has been achieved, apply Processing Lotion for 5 minutes. (Due to the nature of dye molecules, it is possible that hair may redarken to an unacceptable level.
