Is Valles Caldera worth visiting?
This is well worth the trip. We saw over 100 elk and had a great drive through meadow after meadow. They only allow a certain number of cars in a day but the elk could be seen from the visitor center. This is one of three super volcanoes in the U.S. and the caldera it left is magnificent.
