A: We would like to inform you that the Vacmop is not designed to vacuum carpets. With the VACMOP you don’t have canister to empty as the dirt is collected in a chamber on the pad. The Vacmop should not be used without a pad as it could cause the unit to have issues.

I usually put a mixture of pinesol and warm water, it does the trick! I also was impressed by the weight of Vacmop, very easy to maneuver and not bulky.
