Are UTS exams online?
There are three types of online exams this session. Your exam type can be found on your exam timetable under exam conditions, which will be available on Monday 4 July 2022 (Main, Health) and Monday 11 July 2022 (Education & GSH) in My Student Admin. The three exam types are: Take-home exam (not invigilated)
What happens if you fail exam UTS?
UTS will change your FAIL to WITHDRAWN on your academic record. You may be given the opportunity to attempt a supplementary exam or assessment and a second chance to pass your subject.
Are UTS exams open book?
The final exam for many subjects will be open book or restricted open book. Students are able to bring notes, textbooks or other approved materials into the exam.
What is an LMS exam?
Timed LMS exam This online exam option makes use of the Quiz feature available in the Learning Management System (LMS) you are using. Students will need to complete the exam in one sitting withing the exam duration. Students are not required to prove their identity in the process.
How does ProctorU work UTS?

What is a pass at UTS?

Do I need to study for an open book exam?
An open-book exam will require you really understand material and be able to apply or analyze information and content rather than just remember it. This means you definitely need to study and get organized since you won’t be able to just memorize information!
Why is Proctorio disabled in Chrome?
Proctorio will ONLY work (for both instructors and students) with the Chrome browser (the software is actually an Extension of Chrome). Because of this limitation, smartphones and tablets will not work, even if the device has the Chrome browser.

When can I advise UTS of a scheduling difficulty?
You can apply to UTS to advise of a scheduling difficulty if you have: three (3) or more exams occurring within a 24 hour period. eg – If you have an exam at 9.00am, 12.30pm and 4.00pm on the same day, you can apply to reschedule one of these exams (you cannot choose which one)
