What is an IOC qualification?
The Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) is our most established qualification and is taken by practitioners globally to enhance their knowledge and skills of the administration and operations areas of the financial services sector.
How long does it take to do IOC?
How long will it take for me to obtain the IOC? We recommend between 80 and 100 hours study per unit and you must take three units to complete the IOC.
How do I download CISI certificate?
All candidates who have successfully passed CISI exams after 1 May 2018 will be able to view, download and print their e-certificates via our secure candidate portal, MyCISI (My Account – My Account Activity-Qualifications Policies & Assessments). Please note that only one original copy of each certificate is allowed.

What are IOC orders?
An Immediate-Or-Cancel (IOC) order is an order to buy or sell a stock that must be executed immediately. Any portion of an IOC order that cannot be filled immediately will be cancelled. Learn More.
Who elects IOC?
The IOC President is elected by secret ballot by the IOC members at the Session. The President’s term of office is eight years, and can be renewed once, for four years. The ninth IOC President Thomas Bach was elected on 10 September 2013 at the 125th IOC Session in Buenos Aires.
How many times can you fail CISI exam?
A maximum of six attempts will be allowed in any 12 month period from the date of the first examination attempt in that subject. The CISI reserves the right to refuse entry to an examination to any candidate who has previously passed the same examination.
How do I get CeMAP?
Our industry-leading Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) can get you qualified in as few as 6 months. There are no entry requirements for this course, but you will need to be able to study English at a Level 3 standard. CeMAP is made up of 3 modules, each with a two-hour multiple-choice question exam.
How many levels are in CISI?
The CISI has five different grades of membership. Whether you are just starting out in the professional field; have achieved a relevant professional qualification; or you are an established practitioner with a wealth of experience, there is a grade appropriate for your level.
