Can the Linx fail?
The LINX device has been shown to have be an extremely low risk surgical procedure. Should the LINX fail for any reason, it can be removed. While we do not want, nor expect, to have to reverse the procedure, if it must be done, the risk remains low.

The latest and most recent data is from a 6-year study of 100 patients who had the LINX procedure in Italy. In this study there were no reported complications related to the device. The lack of side effects from the procedure was notable. Before the LINX procedure, 48% of those studied had bloating compared to only 2% after the procedure.
