What age can you do LAMDA exams?
5 years old
Exams can be taken from 5 years old through to Adult diplomas. LAMDA offer a wide range of examinations including Speaking Of Verse and Prose, Acting, Mime, Reading For Performance, Devised Performance, Spoken English and Public Speaking.
Is LAMDA good for kids?
Learning for LAMDA examinations are a great way to help your child develop a sense of individuality, strengthen attentiveness and define their character. The LAMDA examinations are divided into two main groups: Performance and Communication.
Does LAMDA count as a GCSE?
All levels of LAMDA exams are accredited as recognisable equivalents to standard qualifications: Level 1 exams (Grades 1-3) are the equivalent of low grades at GCSE, Level 2 (Grades 4 and 5) high grade GCSE and Level 3 (Grades 6,7 and 8) have the equivalent UCAS points of AS and A-Levels.
How do you qualify for LAMDA?
You can book an exam at one of our LAMDA Centres, or register your venue as a centre and have one of our examiners come out to you. Once you’re booked in, we’ll send you all the paperwork.
