What is the difference between Apollo x8 and x8p?
The Apollo x8 is an 18×24 device with 4 Unison Preamps, 8 line inputs, and 10 line outs—2 of which are dedicated to monitor output. The rest is the same as the x6. The x8p is a 16×22 interface and changes things up a bit with 8 Unison preamps via 8 Neutrik Combo jacks.

Are Apollo preamps any good?
Other Brands work definitely better with Windows.. Buying an Apollo is one of the worst move i made in my engeneer career . I recently upgraded to an Apollo 8 and what an upgrade. The preamps are so clean – my guitar has never sounded so great. I’m really enjoying having access to the UAD amps in unison and also the preamp emulations.
