How long is a good surf session?

A normal surf session is about 1-2 hours. When you’re learning to surf, 2 hours will feel like a long time. If you last the full 2-hours on your first session, congrats! As you improve your conditioning and become a more efficient a paddler, surf sessions can last up to 4-5 hours.
How many waves do you catch in a surf session?
Even when we’re fully booked, each surfer should score around 10-12 waves per session (that is, opportunities to catch waves – once it comes, it’s up to you how you ride it!). When we’re less busy, you’ll score more perfect waves.
How long is a session at Urbnsurf?

Expert surf sessions run for 1 hour in duration, including 55 minutes in-the-water surfing time, and 5 minutes to enter and clear the water at the beginning and end of each session.
Can I start surfing at 20?
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re too old to start surfing, we’ve got some great news. You’re never too old to surf, nor are you ever too old to learn to surf. In fact, the vast majority of our guests are in their 20s and 30s. We even have a few who are in their late teens.

Can you get good at surfing in your 20s?
Learning to surf in your 20’s will take focus and determination but you’re never too old to start! Surfers can progress quickly in their 20’s if they immerse themselves in the process, including, taking lessons, improving fitness, finding like minded people and having fun!
