How do I get a PTS card without a sponsor?
You will not be able to obtain a PTS Card without a Sponsor. One way to find a sponsor is Network Rail’s Careers Page. You will be required to pass tests to meet the medical requirements specified by Network Rail. These are straightforward.
What qualifications do you need to work on the railways?
A PTS or Personal Track Safety Course is the absolute minimum qualification required by Network Rail to work on or near their tracks. You will not be permitted to undertake any railway work unless you first gain a PTS Card.
