Stewards etc were all very friendly, but I don’t think we were a testing afternoon for them. The highlight: the goal celebration music for Fleetwood is the theme from Captain Pugwash…it felt so out of place at a league football club, but also so brilliantly unique.

The stewards were superb, very friendly and were a credit to Fleetwood Town FC. Getting away from the ground was easy and there were no problems. However overnight roadworks and diversions made the journey back to Liverpool interesting. A long trip, but the win made the journey worthwhile.
