Why do we celebrate Gopalkala?
According to the history, it is said that the lord Krishna would graze cattle with his fellow cowherd friends. At the lunch time Lord Krishna mix all the food bought by his friend with his own and make a kala. The kala is a mixture of food with milk, curd, and butter. Hence this day is celebrated as Gopalkala.
