What is a perf retirement plan?
PERF is a defined benefit 401(a) retirement plan established by the State of Indiana to provide retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for its participants. PERF has two separate and distinct benefits, a pension benefit and an annuity savings account benefit.

Once CalPERS membership is terminated, you no longer are entitled to any CalPERS benefits, including retirement. You are eligible for a refund only if you are not entering employment with another CalPERS-covered employer. Applicable state and federal taxes will be withheld from your refund.
Can I collect CalPERS and CalSTRS?
