I’ve used this Whirley Popper several times, and it’s just lovely. It looks good, the wooden handle and crank feel good in the hand, the smoothness of the turning mechanism feels good; it’s well-crafted and it’s obvious. Wonderful. See far too little of that these days.

Do you have to use oil in a Whirley Pop?
If you’d prefer a lighter taste, you can use as little as a teaspoon of any high temperature oil. Recommended oils are our Classic Blend Popping Oil (a blend of coconut and canola oils), peanut, corn, canola, or even Green Tea oil. Not recommended is butter or olive oil.
