Can I use Multi-vehicle ATF?
If you have any doubt that Dexron III or Mercon is suitable for your car, do not take the risk of using a multi-vehicle fluid. There are a couple of other complications, too. Your GM car might take Toyota transmission fluid, or Honda transmission fluid. Your BMW might take the same ATF as your neighbor’s Audi.
