What does Qvl mean for RAM?
QVL stands for Qualified Vendor List. It applies to each motherboard and is put out by the manufacturer (Asus, MSI, etc). Basically, this is a list of hardware that the manufacturer has specifically tested and knows will work with that motherboard. This usually includes hardware like RAM, CPUs, SSDs, etc.
