While doing some research on Berkely Gulp products, we found a few questions from anglers wondering what is the difference between “Gulp” and “Gulp Alive?” From everything we can tell, Gulp is simply the brand name of the bait and Gulp Alive is the special fish scent attractant juice that Berkley Gulps are soaked in.

1) They are all the same and you can mix. You just do not want to mix the spray attractants. 2) we do have storage containers for the gulp alive .
How long does Gulp scent last?
If you keep it cold while you are using it, it will last 2 days or maybe 3. It is so easy to make, I make a fresh batch every morning on a multiday trip. Two or 3 large shrimp or a dozen fresh heads will make a batch large enough for 3 guys for a day.
Does Gulp Alive expire?
I have Gulp that’s three plus years old. I keep it in an old peanut butter jar filled with the juice, but I also have a couple of the old containers filled with the juice, and one filled with water. As long as they stay moist, they’re fine. They won’t go bad or anything.

The answers are yes and yes. It will freeze but I havent had a container break. I dont know what the freezing point is but I have gone in the back of the truck and garage and had frozen gulp alive products. Yes you can take it off the hook and put it back in the juice.
