After the initial step, one should get into the habit of writing down the specific facts that one wants to explain one.
The next step is writing a hypothesis. If you are writing a book review or some other written work of literature, then you will have to explain why you are covering subject x, so that your reader will be able to figure out your specific purpose in writing one. If it is a dissertation paper, this is usually the case for your thesis. In your essay, it becomes necessary to tell why one wants to talk about subject x. For example:
My interest in the role of media and the Internet in society and culture has led me to study the Internet as a medium of interaction among individuals. In doing so, I decided to analyze this medium and how it can be used to solve certain problems faced by different groups in our society. My thesis is about how the Internet has affected the interaction between individuals and how this can be useful for society.
The next step is to write some general points – what makes up the main argument of the paper? It should include your thesis premise, the argument about which you are writing, and a section about the thesis conclusion.
I’m going to discuss in detail about the general points that are necessary for a good thesis. These general points are based on the ideas that make up objective reasoning. This means that they should be backed up with facts. You want to make sure that you take the topic seriously even though most of the facts that you are going to put forth are abstract. For example, in the thesis title, you can say something like “In this paper, I explore the problem of social media and Internet. I argue that there is a need for a new social media discourse that allows for more openness, tolerance, and honesty, and that social media helps to bridge divides, allowing us to create a more harmonious society.”
In the same way, you should make sure that you make the argument clearly. There is a reason why the title of every single article about your thesis should be clear and concise. It should not only contain the key points that make up your thesis, but also it explains how the argument fits with your other points.
A great way to make sure you explain your argument in detail is to make use of lists or bullet points. For example, you can write in a list like this:
#1. Internet of information and communication
#2. Internet of information and communication.
#3. Social media
#4. The evolution of personal information on the Internet.
#5. Social media and the media
#6. Internet of information and communication used by governments
#7. Internet of information and communication used by corporations
#8. Social media used by governments
#9. Social media used by corporations.
#10. Internet of information and communication used by governments and corporations
#11. Social media used by governments
#12. Social media used by corporations
So, you’ve written down the major points that you want to explain in your thesis. Now you need to figure out the specific ways to prove those points. The best way to do this is to find examples and talk about them. Here are some ideas I’ve picked out from your notes and blog posts:
