Hadley has provided the MTB world with some superb hubs that have garnered a fierce following. Their designs have enabled very straight forward and easy maintenance which is a big plus for many riders who aren’t necessarily that mechanically inclined.

- Once one end cap is off, you should be able to gently pull the axle off. Make sure to hold onto the freehub body while pulling it off.
- Inspect the bearings inside the main body for wear and smoothness again. There is a bearing on each side.
- Inspect and clean the freehub.
