These Saddlemen seats actually do relieve it. Have never had a driver backrest previously in all the years and variety of bikes owned… having it is NICE for those long hauls. No instructions on the backrest but easy enough to figure out, and “on and off” is simple.

Do saddlemen seats break in?
Registered. I called saddlemen today and they told me there is a 1500 mile break in period with these seats as it takes that long for the gel to begin to conform. Said it was okay to use a pad in the meantime as my sheer weight will break the seat in.
