Can anyone give me some pointers on where to start when it comes to writing an essay on employee privacy right
I am taking online classes and I have no idea where to start when it comes to putting my essay together on employee privacy rights in the workplace so if someone can guide me in a direction it will be most helpful
If you are writing an essay for a class then you should have some idea of where to start. You need to start with the gathering of workplace laws. This is probably too large of a subject to cover the entire US (or World) so you need to decide on the scope of your essay. Local employment laws might work. If you want to sit on your butt you can access the State Job Service web or you could go in and talk to someone their. After you get the laws down, decide which ones are pertinent. I would then call up a couple of large employers in your area and ask to either do a phone interview or face-to-face interview with their HR. Hint; figure out some intelligent questions to ask. Most employers will be happy to help you out.
Take this information and began to write out your paper, don’t worry about the form just write (this is called free writing and it works pretty well) on what you have learned. Then go through and keep the good stuff and toss out the bad. Organize into several paragraphs grouped by topic. From this form your thesis and write this in your introduction. Repeat your thesis and give a summary in the last paragraph. Don’t forget to cite your sources. The New Century Handbook is a good one for telling you how.
