All full time soldiers in the Army must first complete Soldier Training at the 1st Recruit Training Battalion Kapooka, near Wagga Wagga. The duration of the Basic Training course is 80 days.

Do you get paid while training at Kapooka?

Can you have your phone in basic training 2021?

After the ARC March Out Function All Regular Army soldiers will return to their lines to change into neat civilian attire prior to going on local leave with their families. All visitors will be transported from the Edmondson VC Club to the visitor’s car park between 1:00 and 1:30 pm.

Can I bring a Bible to basic training?

Yes, you can send a bible to your recruit in boot camp. This military bible is a small size and can be customized with your loved-ones name in gold on the front cover.

Can you fail Army basic training?

What is the hardest part of Army basic training?

Army Basic Training Red Phase Red phase is the starting phase and is typically considered the hardest part of training. The entire phase, which is 3 weeks long, is devoted to constant calisthenic exercise and you will be spending much of your time in the push-up position.

What happens if you fail boot camp?

Recruits who don’t pass their initial run will get another chance within 48 hours. But if they fail that, they’ll be sent home with an ELS, an entry-level separation from the Navy that will require them to get a waiver if they want to try and enlist again.
