The cremains do not biodegrade naturally over time. They can cease to be cremains because they become mixed with soil, water, or air to such an extent they no longer remain intact as the family first received them.
Can you melt ash?
Melting temperature for low meltable ashes is from 1000 to 1200 °C, for medium meltable ashes from 1200 to 1450 °C and for heavy meltable ashes over 1450 °C. During the combustion of wood biomass the temperature should not exceed 1100 °C.
Can two people’s ashes be mixed together?
Commingled: If the couple requested their ashes to be commingled, or if the family decided that commingling was the best expression of the two people’s love, then the ashes can be mixed together before in companion urns for permanent storage.
