Do High School/ colleges admission essays need a title?

QUESTION
Do High School/ colleges admission essays need a title?
how do I write an admission essay? Where do I put the title?

ANSWER
No, they don’t need a title.

Start with an outline. What is the question you need to answer? Usually it’s what have you done so far, what are your achievements, and where have you failed to achieve something, and what did you learn from all of these?

Start filling in the outline. Think of a good starting sentence. The first paragraph gives an introduction of who you are and what you are saying. 5-10 sentences tell your story (depends on the space provided). Then spend 1-3 sentences summarizing your story, and asking for consideration to that college.

Be sure you show that you know THAT college in your answers–don’t use generic answers. If you are interested in study abroad and that college offers it, mention that as an interest. IF they don’t offer it, DON’T mention it!
