Does FIU have study rooms?
Study Space Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis to current FIU students only.
How do I reserve a study room at FIU?
All online reservation requests forms will go directly to the venue’s space manager/event coordinator who will respond to and assist with your request. In case you need immediate assistance, please call the Central Reservations Office (C.R.O.) at 305-348-1100.

Can you eat in the FIU Library?
The FIU Law Library provides a welcoming environment that is comfortable and conducive to study. Food and beverages are allowed on the second and third floors of the Law Library, except in study rooms, with additional limitations set out below.

You can access digital library content from home! Just log into our home access portal using your FIU username and password and you’ll be ready to read, watch, listen, and learn right from the comfort of your home.
What GPA do you need to get into FIU?
FIU has minimum scores and GPA level for automatic admission. For fall entry, the minimums are a 3.3 GPA and an SAT of 1530 or an ACT of 22. (These minimums are much higher if you’re graduating high school a year early — at least a 4.0 GPA and an SAT of 1950 or an ACT of 29 required.)
Can alumni go to FIU library?
Welcome Visitors, to FIU Libraries! Non-FIU affiliated visitors, alumni and FIU retirees will have access to the library during the following hours: Monday – Thursday: 9am-9pm. Friday: 9am-6pm.
Can non-FIU students use the library?
Yes, the libraries are open to the public and anybody can visit and use most library resources in the building. Please note, all Library Guests will need to show an FIU OneCard/ID, state-issued ID, or some other form of government identification at the Guest Services Desk in order to access the building.
