elements of a good poem?

elements of a good poem?
I have to write an essay on what makes a good poem. Any ideas?

Certainly you can probably expect to get answers relating to the formal aspects; the technical methods involved in creating what is defined as poetry, and they have stood for generations.

MY personal feeling is creating a piece that might be easy to follow, or for some, even abstractly understand, but that cause the reader to not only follow it, but relate to it, perhaps even wish to recite it aloud, and more, to read it again, and perhaps again.

I suggest, with all due respect to everyone, GOOD is Subjective and Relative.
