English 7-8 teachers! please help!?
Can you explain to me or like give me an idea on a simple outline of a 5 page personal narrative? in a more of college level essay way. Please, it’s to help me ask for scholarships.

ANSWER
Yes, I will do that. Here is an outline of questions to ask if you are able to write from an outline.:

A scholarship personal essay should be written from this outline of seven questions:

What makes you a good candidate for a scholarship (btw, you did not say what the scholarship was for?).

What will be the effect of getting a scholarship on others?

What are the words that you would use to describe yourself and explain them)

What things in your life have changed your life?

What barriers in your life have you overcome?

Have you ever taken risks in your life? What happened?

Do you feel you have been lucky?

Would the world be better or worse off if you have never been in it.? How and why?

What makes you interested in in this scholarship?

One sample scholarship essay follows:

I literally work hard at many academic things. Throughout my schooling, I have worked as long and as hard as I possibly can to effect beneficial changes in both school and society. During the summer of seventh grade, I took some books home from the library to learn more about early man, and, I used a telescope to find Pluto.

In addition to learning the science of space, I recently talked to several elementary science classes in my school area. I was asked by my teacher to do this. After talking to one class, one student bought many books on general science to read. Talking to other students helps me to search for knowledge to understand the world and the people around me.

As president of my seventh grade class, I tutor students in another school in various subject areas. I am the leading member of the Math Team, the Academic Team, and the Model Congress. In the area of leadership, I have recently received one scholarship from my church. I wrote an essay on patriotism for my eighth grade teacher. Now, I am studying Spanish on my own. I am a member of both the Spanish Club and the Spanish Honor Society..

Besides involvement in school, I am active in athletics. For instance, I lift weights and I am the captain of my class’ touch football team. So far our record in PE is 3-0.

I am working hard on being elected to my class’ student council president, I have begun a biweekly pageof student council activities and opinions. Also, as a member of the school council, we have opened a school store for the first time.. also with paint and wood, we turned a janitor’s closet into a fantastic store. I also directed some fund raisers and charity drives. For instance, I recently organized a charity drive that netted about $1,500 for the family of girl in my community who received a heart transplant.

As Student Liaison to the school principal’ student council. I am working to introduce more after school activities for seventh and eighth graders. I find learning to be extremely rewarding. I have been working to better myself and to improving the school and community. I hope to continue in this same manner of unselfish work. I want to commit myself to helping others and to advancing my studies.
