Help on Critical Essay?
What kind of things do you put in an introduction and a conclusion fora critical essay. it is on a novel. please help.
The introduction for any paper should tell the reader what your paper is going to be about, including your thesis (the main point you are trying to get across). It should also be a way to get the reader interested in what your paper is going to be about. In the conclusion, you should briefly restate your ideas (but in different words), and sum up your argument. It is also usually a good idea to leave the reader with an interesting idea to think about as they finish the paper, for instance a possible correlation between the ideas in one book to those in another. If you want to be really sure, it would probably be a good idea to talk to your teacher, because a lot of people have different ideas about what they expect to find in an introduction and conclusion. Hope that helps!
