How can I write a reflective essay without using first person? PLEASE HELP?
Im typing up a paper about stereotypes. she doesn’t want too much narrative and she wants it in present tense.. she wants it to reflect my person experience with stereotypes.. IDK how to do that without using first person.
Hmm ok, I know what your teacher wants, but its a little tricky to explain. lets see.
Ok so a first person example would be
I went down to the dam, across swampy marsh land
and of course the narrative…
He went down to the dam, across swampy marsh land
but to put it in a present tense without using first person would require some creativity…..example
“There is a trail to go down to the dam, across swampy march land”
its kind of like not taking sides while writting…its an inpersonal way to state facts.
first person – I beleive king henry would probably have a heart condition if he was alive today
narrative – she siad king henry would have a heart condition if he was alive today
factual – It could be said that king henry would have a heart condition if he was alive today
hope that helps!
