How do I set the AeroGarden sprout light timer?
When planting a new Seed Pod Kit, press and hold the ‘Light’ button for 10 seconds to reset all timers. The Grow Light will turn Off then back On to confirm that the garden has been reset. Your Grow Lights will come on at this time each day and the Nutrient timer will activate every 14 days.
How do you prune parsley so it keeps growing?
Just as with other herbs, parsley likes to be snipped, which encourages additional growth. Bunch the stems and leaves together and snip them off at ground level with kitchen shears. You can also just take a sprig or two starting with the outside stalks first. Be sure to cut at ground level though.
When should I trim my herbs?
Harvest flowering herbs like basil, sage and thyme before their flowers bloom. Once they bloom, the leaves lose their flavor. I prefer to snip off all the flower buds so that the plant lasts longer. Once the plant flowers it will start to make seeds and stop producing leaves.
