How long does the walk over The O2 take?
90 minute
Up at The O2 is an exhilarating 90 minute experience that takes you on a guided expedition over the roof of The O2 via a fabric walkway. Suspended 2m above the surface of The O2 roof, the walkway is 52m above ground level and 380m long.
What should I wear to walk over The O2?
We shall supply you with a Climb suit, ECCO shoes, harness and safety equipment which you will need for your Climb. You must wear this clothing and equipment at all times during the Climb and must not interfere with it in anyway whatsoever after it has been attached by your Climb Guide.
Is climbing the 02 worth it?
The climb was not as difficult as I had imagined and the views were spectacular. I came away feeling I’d done something pretty unique and had had a great time. The highlight is definitely reaching the summit and enjoying the view. Climbing over the o2 is fun, unique and not as hard as it looks.
Can you climb The O2 if it’s raining?
The British weather is unpredictable so our experience has been designed with that in mind. Our goretex climb suits by ARCO will keep you dry so the adventure continues in the rain and we can still climb safely in winds up to 33mph.
Can you take cameras into The O2?
Yes. Small personal cameras are fine for each show at The O2. We ask that you turn off the flash so as not to distract the performers or other guests. Larger SLR type cameras and GoPro’s or devices similar are not permitted into the venue unfortunately.
Can you drink alcohol in The O2?
You must be age 18+ to drink and/or buy alcohol. You may be asked to provide ID for proof of age. Reward Goods/Services: This Reward entitles you to receive 20% off the drink’s menu in the O2 Bluebar. Please note: not valid on premium wines, premium spirits, champagne, any food items or logic products.
Can you wear hats in the 02?
Bottle caps or tops are removed as a safety requirement. The reason for this is that when trodden on, a plastic bottle with the top intact does not crush but acts as a roller, therefore becoming a potential threat to people’s safety (particularly in the event of an evacuation).
Can I take sweets into the O2?
Food and drink bought outside The O2 arena can’t be taken into The O2 arena.
Can you drink alcohol in The O2 arena?
It is not allowed to bring in the O2 arena: alcohol. food and beverages (except for health reasons)
Did You Know you can climb up at the O2?
In the past few years the O2 has transformed into more than just a place where you go to see your favourite band. One of the more recent additions is Up at the O2 which challenges you to climb over the 50 metre structure to see a great view of the London skyline. There are lots of clever things you probably don’t know about the design of the O2.

What can you do on the roof of the O2?
From your vantage point on the roof of The O2, admire uninterrupted views of London landmarks like Greenwich Park, Canary Wharf, and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Capture the views on camera, then return in safety to ground level. At The O2 the action doesn’t just happen on stage, it also happens on the roof.
