How many Atma do I need?
You have to collect 12 different Atmas, from 12 different maps. They are dropped with a low drop rate from Fates in that region (Sample item: Atma of the Ram). Okay – so where and how?

What is the Atma drop rate?
To obtain an Atma, the Adventurer must complete a FATE with the Zenith Relic Weapon equipped, and the crystal may randomly drop at an estimated 10% chance.

- Atma drop randomly from any FATE in that zone.
- When Atma do drop, you will be alerted in-game by a popup.
- You must be equipped with a Zenith Relic Weapon in order to get Atma; however this can be any Zenith Relic Weapon / job.
- Atma go into your normal inventory rather than your Key Item inventory.
How do you unlock your arms?
Up in Arms Speak with Gerolt with your Zenith Relic Weapon equipped who will then direct you to Jalzahn standing opposite him. Jalzahn needs you to bring him 12 crystalline objects known as Atma. Atma are dropped randomly from FATEs in certain zones around Eorzea when equipped with a Zenith Relic Weapon.

How many Atma’s can be obtained from Central Thanalan?
First of which is that it tells the player that 2 stones can be gotten from Central Thanalan when, in fact, only one exists. The stone that comes from Central Thanalan is the Atma of the Scales. The Atma of the Maiden is obtains from Central Shroud. A second typo is that one is said to exist in “Central” La Nocea.
Where can I find Atma stones?
Central Thanalan drops “Atma of the Scales”, “Atma of the Maiden” drops from Central Shroud. -In order to get Atma stones to drop simply participate in fates in the zones stated with (and this is very important) the Zenith you’re trying to UPGRADE.
How many Fates did it take you to farm all atma weapons?
I’ve farmed 2 atma weapons already. It took me 952 fates in all to farm the needed 24 atmas. The only superstition that seems correct is that RNG does run in cycles, as in no matter how long i farmed once an atma dropped in a zone the following one for that zone always came within 3-4 fates later, without exception.
Does the current Eorzean date affect the drop rate of Atma?
My initial theory was that each atma stone drop rate is affected by the current Eorzean date. So for example if its the 21st Sun of the 2nd Astral Moon then that would like up with 3/21 which is Aries so therefore Atma of the Ram in Middle La Noscea should have an increased drop rate.
