We do not have an admission fee into Bedgebury and the parking charge is per vehicle and allows a number of people entry to this beautiful, fun and important site.

Entry fees are per vehicle Pay on departure at the pay station in the car park. Our pay station machines are now cashless and only accept contactless or chip and pin card payments. You can also pay for vehicle admission using the Glide app on your Apple or Android mobile phone.

What happened to Bedgebury?
In December 2012, they paid a visit to Bedgebury School in Goudhurst. Originally named Lillesden School for Girls, its history dates back to the 1920s and it finally shut its doors in 2006.
Why did bedgebury school close?
The news arrived in a letter at Easter, informing us that the school was to merge with another, thus sustaining “the name of Bedgebury into the future”, said the head. A shock in itself. But, as it turned out, contracts hadn’t been signed, and the other school pulled out. So Bedgebury had to close.
