How to begin a college essay?

QUESTION
How to begin a college essay?
I am in an AP class, and I am unsure how to begin an essay on development. Does anyone know a good, smooth way to open the essay up? Thank you!

-Wendy Ravinski

ANSWER
You need an introduction, a body, and a conclusion; the intro must have a thesis statement and a brief summary of the findings, the body presents the summarized results of the literature reviewed, and the conclusion summarizes the findings and makes a conclusive statement.
