How to write a research paper on population
The study of population is and remains an area of intense controversy among scientists and sociologists. That is why, even before the study of population, experts and researchers were struggling to understand and describe it. In the course of this struggle, some theoreticians were able to suggest that the problem of population management depends on the level of the social and economic development of the country.
In any case, when the economy and population are at the heart of the development, then the study of the latter is of great importance. The changes that have taken place in it (the increase in the birth rate, the decrease in mortality, etc.) are reflected in the population’s ever-growing ability to consume more material resources. In the period of abundance of free time, the population can sometimes grow older, and this, of course, is inconvenient for the system.
To counteract these difficulties, a role of social conservatism in the management of the population is being played. The prime minister is often referred to as an “executor” or “social coordinator”. In reality, he delegates to it not only administrative but also ministerial functions. Sometimes, it is his wife who has the titles only.
Nevertheless, the role of social conservatism in the management of the population is enormous. Its influence on the demographic process is expressed in the following: in the period of the growth in the population, the number of people employed in agriculture increases, the number of agricultural landlands decreases, the number of families and individuals remaining in agriculture is decreasing, the situation of nutrition is worsening.
Thus, according to experts, there are many ways to influence the demographic process. Here are some of them:
In India, the number of working students declined in 1999, but the population still increases. The prime cause of this trend lies in the transformation of the value of the workforce, which changes its status to a lower one under the influence of social security and benefits. The composition of the population drops below the middle class in India. But the process of population aging is observed, especially among the young families, a group which is particularly sensitive to the changes in the social sphere.
The foregoing changes in the labor market are repeated every few years. Each group of people tries to find its place in the social hierarchy, succeeds or falls from the existing social structure. In Egypt, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Thailand, the number of people over 60 years has already reached the highest point – 65 years. The country is ready for a new round of positive changes. However, the process of transition from the current system to a new one takes place now.
The first significant step which should be described in essays on population crisis is the transition of the basic economic categories, the classification of basic social groups, which is carried out by another way. The population of the proletariat is divided into two main economically and socially inactive groups. The first of them, having solid incomes, pays no attention to social problems. The rest are fodder workers, scrouters, rastamen, etc. In general, the range of people employed in agriculture is very wide.
In the 1960s, the number of people over 65 years has reached 1.5 billion, and the number of old people has already reached 2.5 billion.
