How to write a synthesis essay?

Having collected enough information on the topic, you need to study the sources, check the news, examine the websites that published the booklets, periodicals, and other publications, send out to the university a report on the findings.

The type of paper depends on the rules adopted at the educational institution. The most common options are dissertations, theses, coursework, capstone projects, systematic reviews, translations, newsletters, electronic library books, etc. The latter are considered to be the easiest, because they require to simply prepare a detailed summary after a practical course or to analyze some theoretical material. You should be prepared for the fact that, even if you have excellent grades in the discipline, many future professionals will simply discard the novel, because it is sure to be broken. In such a situation, it is better to order a paper to be written for you from scratch, especially at the end of the educational course.

The college paper rules suggest that the student should separate fact from the concept, clearly state the material that is known about the topic, highlight the main points, researches, and theories. But the most important thing that the student should see is the absolute consistency of the text. All the facts should be presented as clearly and logically as possible.

According to the method of writing a synthesis essay, several basic blocks are possible:

  • Introduction (formulation of the theme and thesis statement);
  • Body (analysis and comparison of the available facts, description of some contexts, conclusions made on the basis of certain theories, approaches to solving the problem posed, list the main arguments and conclusion to which they led.
  • Conclusion (bibliography, table of contents, bibliography, appendices).

    An introduction is a section in which the writer presents the theme and thesis statement. You should indicate the purpose of the research and the novelty of the study, describe possible solutions to a problem, indicate the main turning points that can be considered in the work.

    The main part is the most critical one, as it often determines the outcome of the whole project. Therefore, it is considered to be the most important element of the whole coursework paper. It is divided into several parts: thesis (1)�Main block which is a kind of synthesis of the alphabetic sequence and the discussion of the various points of view in the work;

  • Conclusion (a review of the problem and the ways of its optimal solution, an analysis of the case including the presentation of different solutions to the problem).
  • The thesis statement is the main idea of the paper. You can use it even after the “introduction”, as long as you did not choose it yourself. The thesis should be clearly stated in an introduction. Then you will attract the attention of the reader.

    The argument is a substantiation of the author’s words.

    The match to the topic is due to the method of discussion. In sociology, it is defined as the correspondence of variables to variables. So, you should analyze how accurately the concepts are presented by the author.

  • Criticism is the second stage of the study. It is characterized by the impact of the objective reality on the activities of the subject. It is mainly reflected in the attitude towards the problem and the use of professional words.
  • Economics is the third stage of the development of the economy. It is characterized by the change in the mix of activities: from the production of goods and services to the distribution of profits.
  • Communication with the surrounding reality is related to the development of the individual. The sphere of communication includes all the processes leading to the goal of the enterprise. Often the sphere is narrow only to scientific activities.
  • Ideation is the fourth stage of the formation of the individual identity. Its main component is the process of forming the concept of own ideas. Sometimes this process is associated with a change in the value system of the individual.
  • Channelization is the fifth stage of the development of the individual ideation. Its features are equal for the levels of income inequality, the class structure of wealth and social status. The population, having consolidated its financial position in the class structure of incomes, immediately begins to act in the social division of labor.
  • Beginning of the economic cycle (monthly for the first year) is marked by the rapid growth of asset and liability which are reflected in the phenomena of instability in the economy. Immediately after the basic social groups, there are changes in the standard of living of the population, which do not allow to keep the post of the middle class on an economic ladder.
  • Culturalist changes are the process of cultural replacement of the old values, the replacement of male concepts and ideas by new ones, the preservation of the traditional family as the wife, the child, the elderly people, etc. in the process of social change.
