How to write my SAT essay thesis? i’m taking the SAT tomorrow!?
Okay, so i have been practicing my essay and the time limit with it. So i have a hard time putting my examples into my thesis. Do i have to state my examples in my thesis? It’s easier for me if i don’t but my thesis does relate to my topic.I don;t know how to fit 2 of examples in the thesis; so i prefer to not state them but rather answer the prompt.
If you don’t understand what I’m asking, let me put it this way: Do I have to state 2 of examples in the thesis or in the introduction?
– Form an idea about the prompt
– State that there are examples to support this idea in your thesis
e.g. Prompt is Memory is always reliable (I know, poor representation of actual prompt)
Thesis: Memory is not always reliable. Numerous psychological studies have been conducted to support this. For example, Smith (1993) conducted an experiment investigating the reliability of memory.
Another example is ….
You don’t need the examples in the thesis. Mention them (don’t describe them) in the introductory paragraph. Elaborate on them later.
