if i fail the act test 2008 i will be bak in college any one have any clue what be on his year ACT test
The ACT has four sections, plus an optional essay. The first section is always English – it is a multiple choice test that requires you to fix errors in a five essays. The second section is math – it tests algebra, geometry, and some trigonometry. The third section is reading – you have to read and answer questions about four passages, and do so quickly because you only get 35 minutes for all four passages. The last section is science – it doesn’t test science knowledge, but instead tests your ability to read graphs and charts and understand how experiments are set up. (The specific questions obviously change, but the same material is tested on all ACTs, regardless of year.)
I assume you’re taking the test on December 13, since that’s the last one this year. At the very least, I would take a few practice tests – you can get three real tests in the Official Prep Guide to the ACT and two more at http://www.actstudent.org/ . If you also want to spend some time reviewing the material on the test, I’d work through the Kaplan ACT book. It is well organized, and does a good job of explaining the strategies and content you need to do well.
