I need help understanding the correct way to write a scholarship essay?
I’m just starting to seek out scholarships…’cause my dad might let me go to college. I’m a Year 11 with a 2.9 GPA. The problem is: I don’t know how to write a proper scholarship essay. O_o Do you guys have any tips or advice? Is their a specific way they should be written? I want to win as many scholarships as possible… :/
If you do not know by now, a spam filled message board probably won’t help.
But, to not sounds like a total D-Bad, it just depends on WHAT you are trying to earn. Is it a poetry scholarship? Story? Research?
Although there are set standards to writing certain papers, you certainly can’t apply one uniform standard for everything. It’s best to read what the scholarship is about, and then taylor it to the subject or idea in question,
For instance, a poetry scholarship certainly wouldn’t aspect as much structure as a research paper. At the same time, you wouldn’t want a research paper as colorful (metaphors, analogies etc) as a poetry paper.
