I’m going to go with the same thing I did for 2016. I’ll start with a basic idea, and work out the details from there.
1)
I’ve done one of these before for 2016!
2)
That’s kind of a weird idea. I wonder if we should try something more interesting. Here’s what I had in mind:
a) A short poem in honor of some character from a beloved series (such as Game of Thrones, the Lion Guard, or the Knights of the Sun)!
b) A story that is a parody of some major show and movie. Let’s say it’s a story called
…so far.(Updated) The Philippine national police chief has ordered a complete halt to government aid to illegal aliens, as the government seeks to tighten oversight of the migrant population, police told ABS-CBN News on Monday.
National police chief Ronald dela Rosa said the illegal immigration influx has reached a level that threatens national security. Dela Rosa said he has directed the Philippine National Police to “take the precautionary measure of stopping the distribution of non-permanent resident and work permits and the issuance of immigration documents to certain categories of illegal immigrants.”
“The government’s first priority is to defend the nation against terrorism and drug activity, which include the arrival of illegal aliens,” he told reporters.
Dela Rosa earlier ordered his chief of staff, police chief Ronald dela Rosa to stop the distribution of non-permanent resident travel certificates to illegal immigrants and to stop issuing the documents to foreigners who violate visa restrictions for visiting the Philippines.
Dela Rosa also ordered the suspension of the issuance and sale of non-permanent resident visas to foreign nationals over 15 years old who do not have a certificate of identity.
He said there will be no more visas for immigrants and tourists who are 15 years and over once their temporary residence permits expire.

“We’re now finding out that if it’s not illegal, they’re going to the airport or arriving at Cebu International Airport to transit through here, and as I said, we’re not allowing this,” he said.
“We will not allow illegal aliens to enter the country. It’s a serious threat to our national security.”
Dela Rosa said he and the National Police Commission will also seek to reduce the number of foreigners in the country by limiting their access to government services and employment opportunities.
He did not specify a timeline for ending the migration “fraud.” The PNP was unable to immediately comment on the issue.
Dela Rosa said he is in
