Are dogs allowed at Minsmere?
Dogs are allowed around the visitor centre and car park only. Dogs cannot be taken on guided walks. Dogs are, however, welcome on public rights of way that cross the reserve, including a 5 mile circuit around the reserve perimeter, but these are not accessible from the main car park.

Are the hides open at Titchwell?
Our hides and viewpoints are a great place to spot the special wildlife here and offer outstanding views over the reserve, reedbeds, saltmarshes and freshmarsh. South Parrinder, North Parrinder, Island and Fen hides are open.
How much is parking at RSPB Titchwell?
Entry to the reserve and the hides is free. There is a facility charge of £4 per car for non-members who use our facilities. RSPB members and visitors arriving by bus, cycle or on foot are free of charge.

Assistance Dogs welcome. Other dogs are only permitted on the west bank path, which is a public right of way. They must be kept on a lead and under close control.
Are dogs allowed on titchwell Beach?
Dogs are permitted along the West Bank path to the beach provided they kept on leads. This is a public right of way and the only part of Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve where dogs are allowed. Once on the beach there are no restrictions, although some areas may be roped off to protect nesting birds.

What is the Minsmere Level?
This is known as the Minsmere Level, an area of drained and re-flooded marshland with underlying alluvial geology. The area to the south of the Minsmere New Cut drainage ditch, built in 1812, is used as grazing marsh.
What is the coast like at Minsmere?
The coastline at Minsmere consists of a narrow shingle beach and some areas of sand dune with a shingle bank protecting the low-lying coastal areas. This area is at risk of flooding from coastal surges although, unlike areas to the north and south, it does not suffer significantly from coastal erosion.
