Roll each piece in a newspaper sheet and hold it in place with a single piece of tape. Wrap each piece in thin bubble wrap, just enough to slide easily into the container. Wrap up the several pieces (if multiple) with enough additional bubble wrap to require a little effort to fit the container.

Wrap the shafts and butt seperately in bubble wrap. Put the box together, put some bubble wrap in the bottom, put the cue in there and then put more bubble wrap on top of the cue and shut the box. Tape the box up very well with packing tape. USPS Priority will run you $10-$15 without insurance.
